IWKA UPDATE

We are home from Indianapolis and the IWKA World Championships.  The trip there took thirteen hours because of the need to replace the muffler and tailpipe on my Dakota.  Coming home was a mere eleven hours.  Indy Bushido, the host group, did a tremendous job running the event with the help during the competitions of Heidi Gauntner of Ohio.  In between seminars and the tournament, many friends were met again and new friends were made.  This is one of the best reasons to attend any event of this nature.  The following is a listing of award winners:

Adam Masur – Third Place KataScott Miller – Third Place Kata,  Joe Marotta – Second Place Weapons,  Natalie Monone – Second Place Weapons, Third Place Kata, Third Place Sparring,  Lee Gugler – Second Place Weapons, Second Place Kata, Third Place Sparring,   Tony Curcuruto – Second Place Kata, Second Place Weapons,  Ryan Ammermann – Fourth Palce Kata, Fourth Place Weapons,  Frank Henderson – Fourth Place Kata, Fourth Place Weapons

A few photos are below in the preview section.

The 2013 event will be in Ohio.
